Our research interests lie in

the fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics, quantum information, and statistical mechanics,

coherence, dynamics, and control of quantum systems, and their relevance to quantum information technologies.

• dynamics of open quantum systems,
• control of quantum systems (in particular by measurements),
• quantum estimation and quantum metrology,
• entanglement and quantumness,
• various interference phenomena (in particular in quantum many-body systems such as Bose-Einstein condensates and superconductors),
• quantum typicality for statistical mechanics,
• fluctuation theorems.
